Revd Jacque Ayton

We have recently appointed a new vicar. Revd Jacque Ayton will be joining us in January 2025. We can't wait! We're really excited by all that God has in store for this new season and are praying for Jacque and her family as they make the move to Liverpool.

Becca joined us in the summer of 2022, having trained for ordination at Cranmer Hall in Durham. Originally from Scarborough, Becca did Uni in Liverpool and felt God’s call to return to the City.

Nic Findlay

Nic moved to Norris Green from ‘down south’, having sensed God’s call. Nic leads Living Room Church and is our volunteer outreach worker, engaging with schools and lots of local people, offering support, encouragement and more!

Lay Preacher

Roy Walker

Roy came up through the Boys Brigade and choir at Christ Church and has been Church Warden for every Vicar since he was a teenager. He occasionally preaches at Christ Church and is the vice-chair of our PCC.

Retired Clergy

Rev Andrew Edwards

Andrew has retired from parish ministry but works voluntarily in the Diocese and at Christ Church. Andrew is Helen’s husband and sometimes leads or preaches at Sunday services.

Kirsty Fazakerley

Kirsty Fazakerley joined Christ Church in 2022, as part of her training with Emmanuel College in preparation for ordination.

Christ Church Support Officer

Sue Chambers

Sue is Norris Green born and bred. She came to Christ Church as a child and returned as an adult. Sue’s role includes parish administrator and buildings caretaker – she also is the volunteer lead for Food Pantry.

Children and Families Missioner

Sue Wade

Sue has worked with us at Christ Church for over 10 years, running children’s groups, engaging with families and offering support. She loves any opportunity to share Jesus’ love with others.

Jimmy has served faithfully on PCC for several years and recently stepped up to the role of church warden. We're thrilled to have him as part of the team!

Joan Ellis

Joan volunteers at Community Cafe, where she’s delighted that the aprons are nearly the colour of her team - she’s a blue!

Carol Ball

Carol keeps a close eye on our income and expenditure! She’s also employed by Triple C as a Debt Advisor.

Amanda Fawcett

Amanda grew up locally and is now raising her own children in Norris Green. She’s also our children’s advocate on the PCC.

Giving Officer

Christine O’Brien

Chris is our Giving Officer and loves to answer questions about ways to give and why to give to Christ Church. She also looks after our Gift Aid returns, helping to boost our funds with money back from HMRC.

There’s many other people who are actively involved in the life and ministry of Christ Church. There’s too many to mention - come and meet us! There’s teams for all sorts, from school assemblies to caring for our fabulous garden and there are many people who volunteer in the activities of our charity, Triple C Liverpool.
