Serving our community
At Christ Church we are passionate about serving our local community. It is how we understand the Gospel of Jesus! We do this through lots of ways, often partnering with Triple C (and others) to reach as many people as possible.
Community Cafe
Our community cafe is open on Tuesday lunchtimes from 12:30 to 2:30. This is run in partnership with Triple C and with support from Cobalt Housing. There's a free hot meal and plenty of tea and coffee. Toys are available for little ones as well as a range of magazines books and activities for all ages. You will also be able to access the Christ Church garden and outdoor play area. Why not bring a friend along for lunch?
Debt Advice
Triple C are committed to providing support for those struggling with debt and the devastating effects it can have on health and wellbeing.
Everyone is assessed individually, and based on their circumstances we assist them in making arrangements to repay debt and start with a new and workable money management plan. We provide support all the way through the process and give advice on all money matters.
The service is completely free and run by dedicated local volunteers who bring a wealth of knowledge to the service. You don’t need to do this alone!
